At the end of this course, the students; 1) can define plants which are already used or can be used for health claims all over the world 2) can have comments on the production and commerce of plants taking into account our regulations 3) may correlate the recent procedures with the necessities on herbal products with economic value.

COURSE DEFINITION | Knowing pharmaceutically important herbal medicines and plant families, a student gets the information to evaluate the importance of marketing medicinal plants in Turkiye and in the world. Also it is possible to display economically valuable medicinal plants or plants which may have economic value without damaging plant kingdom, and work on increasing the economic values of herbal medicines.
