COURSE DEFINITIONIntroduction to irrigation and drainage concept, related hydro-meteorological data collection and analysis, determination of irrigation water requirement, determination of different application methods in irrigation, planning and design principles of irrigation and drainage systems. Management of existing water resources and environmental concerns, management, operation and maintenance of irrigation and drainage system components.
