LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn the basic concepts of measurement and scale development in Psychology and social sciences. 2) Comprehend the steps related to the scale development and adaptation processes. 3) Comprehend the steps related to the scale development and adaptation processes. 4) Perform factor analytical methods and item analysis for determining psychological variables in measurement and scale development processes in psychology.

COURSE DEFINITION	Purposes, methods and practice in psychological assessment. Administration, scoring, interpreting and reporting selected major tests in cognitive, social and emotional domains under supervision. Use of assessment data in research and intervention.
