Profile of the Programme

The main aim of the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Master's Program is to train psychological counselors who have acquired the new paradigms of the counseling profession in the 21st century, have adopted the humanist and existential philosophy of life, have gained ethical responsibility in their profession, have conducted original research studies for the development of the counseling field by using scientific research skills, and have worked in various fields such as education, health and social services.
Students will gain a broad knowledge of Guidance and Psychological Counseling and will effectively deal with mental health counseling, school counseling, career counseling and couple, marriage and family counseling which are sub-topics of GPC and reconcile those with daily life events. They will also have the knowledge of research and statistics.
