At the end of this course, the students; 1) Evaluate special needs within the scope of all developmental processes. 2) Recognize the tools for evaluating special education needs / selects and uses the appropriate tool. 3) Structure the psychological counseling processes to be carried out with individuals with special educational needs in cooperation with the individual and his/her family. 4) Plan / manage / monitor the psychological counseling needs of individuals with special education needs and their relatives simultaneously. 5) Aware of that PC applications to be carried out with individuals with special education needs and their relatives can be carried out in a team work with different professionals. 6) Aware of the ethical and legal processes.

Recognition of special needs and special classes. Determination of counseling needs considering all developmental areas. Recognition and use of assessment instruments appropriate for special needs. Construction of counseling process with regard to convenient techniques and approaches collaborating with the person and the family.
