LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Will be able to understand the role of instructional technology in education,
2) Will be able to understand the component of communication within instructional technology,
3) Will be able to realize the factors that plays important roles of choosing instructional materials,
4) Will be able to realize the visual design principles and using them when prepare materials,
5) Will be able to understand the advantages and the disadvantages of media and materials with purpose of instruction
6) Will be able to understand the evaluation principles of instructional materials.

COURSE DEFINITIONIn this course, the concept of technology, examples of technological programs applied in education, general characteristics of classroom technology systems, technology in material development, recent developing technologies, and both administrative and other problems in integrating technology into education will be discussed.
