LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) gain awareness of digital applications and methods in fashion drawings,
2) gain access to different perspectives in design thinking, by examining fashion illustrators,
3) experience the necessity of arrangements in which hand drawings and digital drawings communicate and support each other.

COURSE DEFINITIONBasically, while expressing the appearance of the garment on the body by drawing, inspiration, learning, choosing and mixing are the development methods of skills. In digital fashion drawing, it is important to express how the clothes will look when worn, as close to reality as possible and to create associations in this way. It is aimed to create fashion images and hand drawings using computer aided drawing tools and to be effective.
COURSE CONTENTS
WEEKTOPICS
1st Week In fashion visuals designed in digital environment; It focuses on raising awareness of the development methods of skills such as being inspired, learning, choosing and mixing.
2nd Week Considering the narratives made and the presentations made, verbal evaluations are made on the creativity in the practices of the audience and researches and practices are continued in this sense.
3rd Week In fashion visuals designed in digital environment; The development methods of skills such as being inspired, learning, choosing and mixing are examined in detail with digital illustrators.
4th Week Considering the narratives made and the presentations made, verbal evaluations are made on the creativity in the practices of the audience and researches and practices are continued in this sense.
5th Week Drawings are prepared that will create associations with the real appearance of the clothing that is aimed to be designed in the digital environment, taking into account the techniques related to the markup language.
6th Week Considering the narratives made and the presentations made, verbal evaluations are made on the creativity in the practices of the audience and researches and practices are continued in this sense.
7th Week While drawings that will create associations with the real appearance of the clothing that is aimed to be designed in the digital environment are prepared, original and draping-looking photo shoots are carried out, apart from internet research.
8th Week Considering the narratives made and the presentations made, verbal evaluations are made on the creativity in the practices of the audience and researches and practices are continued in this sense.
9th Week Apart from internet research, the documents obtained from the original and draping experiences are predominantly reconsidered and evaluated as a collage.
10th Week Considering the narratives made and the presentations made, verbal evaluations are made on the creativity in the practices of the audience and researches and practices are continued in this sense.
11th Week Apart from internet research, vector drawings are created based on documents obtained from original and draping experiences, and they are rethought and evaluated as a collage.
12th Week Considering the narratives made and the presentations made, verbal evaluations are made on the creativity in the practices of the audience and researches and practices are continued in this sense.
13th Week It is emphasized that digital drawings in cooperation with hand drawings can make appearances more effective.
14th Week Considering the lectures made and the presentations made, depending on the creativity and perspectives of the audience in their practices, their research is evaluated and finalized according to the depth grade system.
