At the end of this course, the students; 1) learn the reflections of traditional structures, rituals, motifs, shapes and colors on clothing and culture from the past to the present, 2) can analyze the reflection of motifs, shapes and colors on clothing, where symbols are associated with design, 3) can apply design ideas through Symbols.

COURSE DEFINITION
Traditional structures, rituals, motifs, form and color, which have been reflected from the past to the present, have been reflected in the clothing culture. The origins of these forms, which are reflected in the clothing culture, the stages they go through, the forms they take on the clothing are analyzed and exemplified on the product designs. In this course, these issues will be examined in the historical process.
