LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) The deep relationship between cinema and visual arts and music is better understood.
2) High-level information is obtained about how music is used in visual communicative applications and cinema, and with what technical knowledge.
3) Gains knowledge about the use of music (technique, age, intelligence, reception) and its applications in various cinema, cartoon and advertisement applications.

COURSE DEFINITIONIn this course, it is aimed to learn the existing practices, principles and studies on visual communication-cinema and the use of music used in the field.

5th Week Psychoanalytic theory of art: Freud-Jung-Lacan
6th Week Adorno: Sociology of music-
7th Week Cinema and music interaction

9th Week Visual communication and music applications
10th Week Recording technology in music: Synchronization
11th Week Cinema-TV and its Psychology
12th Week Advertising, Subliminal and music applications
