At the end of this course, the students; 1) Can recognize and discuss the concept of gender, 2) Can develop critical reflections on visual narratives in the context of gender, 3) Can see, criticize and deconstruct the relationship between sexism and techniques used in moving visual narrative forms such as movies and videos.

COURSE DEFINITION | People form, develop and repeat all their relationships in one place; place is not an independent and neutral place isolated from relations, it is always in interaction with people. The aim of the course is to gain knowledge and awareness about this interaction between human and place; It is also to convey the construction and reading techniques of visual communication codes in places. In this context, it is planned to follow a theoretical-weighted content until the midterm, and to conduct place analyzes where theory and practice intersect after the midterm. |
