COURSE DEFINITION
The new media influenced many sectors and directly influenced and transformed the field of journalism. Recently traditional media structures have reshaped themselves in line with the needs of the new media, accordingly many apparent transformations occurred in different fields such as the way that journalists gather and edit news and the way that they present news to readers / audiences. This course basically focuses on how journalism transforms with new media and it aims to evaluate both the avantages that new media practices provided to journalism field, and controversial fields that emerged with new media.
