At the end of this course, the students; 1) Demonstrate an understanding of the trends that have intensified the value and importance of intercultural communication, including: Globalization; Ethnic and Linguistic Diversity; Mobility; Political and Economic Interdependence; New Technologies 2) Develop a `global mindset? by recognizing the applications of the Hofstede studies and other research literature pertaining to intercultural communication within and among organizations.

COURSE DEFINITION
The aim of this course is to inform students about the intercultural communication theories and to analyze the new hybrid forms of new citizenship that emerged with globalization. At the end of this course the student learns the contemporary issues about the communication with the other and develops solutions to them.
