RECOMMENDED OPTIONAL PROGRAMME COMPONENT
Statistical Analysis and Stochastic Processes
COURSE DEFINITION
In this course, statistical decision theory, multiple regression, single and bidirectional models, factorial model, distribution free-inference, 2k designs, and quality by design are covered. Students who complete this course will achieve basic skills necessary to design and apply statistical methods in areas, e.g. product development, productivity and total quality management, which are closely related to the industrial engineering profession.
