Profile of the Programme
The Industrial Engineering Department is committed to graduate competent industrial engineers equipped with the proficiency to adapt to both focused on the basis of engineering philosophy such as capability of problem solving, capability of analytical and system-oriented thinking, and capability of review and development of systems, as well as management skills. We intend to provide engineers to take responsibility in production or service industries for developing the efficiency of their organizations. Our program is also supported by the specific courses namely basic sciences, technologies and management courses. The academic program covers production engineering, management science, operations research and systems engineering. Interdisciplinary characteristic of the program gives the students the ability to make decisions in production and planning activities in public and private sectors. A part of our program is designed for service industry, which is another special working area of industrial engineer, and our students can select some elective courses and they provides the ability to focus on the service industry. In our department, instead of transferring the technology to educate students as engineers is committed to producing the technology. |
