At the end of this course, the students; 1) Understand the basic principles of Work Study, Motion Study and Work Measurement 2) are able to select the appropriate techniques for analyzing and problem solving 3) are able to analyze a flow described for a manufacturing process 4) can measure the standard time for a product taking into account all related times 5) are able to analyze the time study tables 6) are able to use the related electronic tools for measurement 7) can determine the working techniques, methods and styles on the implementations 8) can interrelate the work study and the productivity

COURSE DEFINITION
In this course, after reviewing the description, aim, phases, and short history of Time and Motion Study, introduces the basic concepts. The Motion Study contains research and Problem Solving Techniques, Flow Analysis, Work Measurement, Time Study contains main times, the determination of dispersion and rest portions, and Work Flow Sequences, in this respect, Determination of Standard Times, Work Sampling, Means Time Measurement, individual and group working, Performance Evaluation and Performance Management, Work Evaluation and Waging Systems will be covered.
