LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Can Understand subject, history and basic problems of Labor Law
2) Understanding of basic concept of Labor Law
3) Learn the rules of Labor Contract
4) Learn rights and duties comes from the Labor Contract
5) Learn and assess employees working hours
6) Have knowledge of measures to be taken for occupational health and safety
7) Learn how to labor contract ending and rights and duties of contractors
8) Have knowledge of trade unions and the trade union freedom
9) Have knowledge of the rights of Collective bargaing, strike and lock-out

COURSE DEFINITIONThis course introduces labor laws concept, its characteristics, historical development and applications, labor contracts, wage and wage guarantees, employee health and labor unions.

6th Week Work health and safety issues
7th Week Work health and safety issues
8th Week Union contracts, strike and lockout rights

10th Week Union contracts, strike and lockout rights
11th Week Philosophical sources and theory of ethics self-control and privacy,
