LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learn developing research proposals. 2) Review the literature parallel with the proposal. 3) Learn how to apply ethical commission. 4) Gain experience in collecting data. 5) Practice their skills in analyzing the data. 6) Learn how to report the result of the analysis. 7) Gain experience about publishing a scientific study.

COURSE DEFINITION	In this course, students are expected to design and conduct a minor independent research project under the supervision of the instructor of the course. The aim is to equip the students with relevant theoretical and practical skills to deal with all aspects of a research. Students will choose a research topic, review the relevant literature, design an experimental study, collect data, and analyze the results. The course will also provide an opportunity to develop graduate students? academic writing skills.
