COURSE DEFINITION
The aim of this course is to provide the students to have basic knowledge about the important milestones, great civilizations, philosophers, scholars and explorations in the world history. Additionaly teach research methods to the students. Cultural themes and patterns will be emphasizing rather than exact chronologies. The students will be asked to remember few exact dates, but a brief comparation between various civilizations and ages will be expected.

What is history? Thinking about the past? Existence of the universe, paleontology and paleoantropology. What is fossil? Existence of the world and geological times .Writing: Existence of the world (It is written in the class, not rated)
2nd Week
Unwritten records; paleolithic age, mesolithic age, neolithic age and pre.pottery neolithic age and pottery neolithic age, chalcolithic age.Project: The subjects will be hand out for the projects
3rd Week
Written records; Sumerian Civilisation and Babylonian Civilization
4th Week
Ancient Egypt civilisation; Early Dynasctic Period, Old Kingdom, Middle Kingdom, New Kingdom and Late Periods.
