1) Understands the type and definition of advertisement.
2) Researches products and services for advertising.
3) Decides the ad type and format. Designs commercials.
4) Creates an advertising project.
5) Performs the shooting of the commercial film.
6) Creates commercials for different broadcast media.

COURSE DEFINITIONWith this course, the student; will gain competencies related to creating advertising projects and shooting commercials. Within the scope of the course, the definition of advertising, the history, development, importance, types of advertising, the difference of television advertising from other types of advertising, its importance, the definition of the target audience, the role of agencies in television advertising, television advertising planning and production processes; media planning, digital world, subliminal advertisements, guerrilla and viral advertisements are discussed.
