Key Learning Outcomes

  • The effects of social, economic, political, cultural, psychological, etc. of media contents have the ability to critically analyze and evaluate.
  • Knows the legal documents, national and international professional organizations and ethical principles that regulate the working conditions in the field of radio, television and cinema.
  • Have basic knowledge about culture, aesthetics, methods, techniques and materials specific to visual culture, fine arts and visual communication.
  • Knows the theories, models, methods and historical development processes of communication and mass media.
  • Knows the pre-production, production and post-production stages of the productions of radio and television programs.
  • He/She has the competence to produce programs and films in the field of radio, television and cinema. Knows the types of programs (documentary, fiction, advertisement, news, drama, music, education, culture, etc.).
  • Prepares, designs and implements a project proposal to produce radio and television contents in the context of different broadcasting environments.
  • Has the ability to use audiovisual equipment effectively in content production.
  • Audio and video editing, digital sound design, image design, web design, use of visual effects, etc. has the ability to apply in the fields.
  • He/She has the skill of editing, writing and preparing a shooting scenario.
  • He/She is competent image aesthetics, cinematographic expression and in the basic principles of composition.
  • Gains knowledge of effective rhetoric methods and techniques and transfers the knowledge he/she has through communication with high-level skills.
  • Demonstrates basic reading, comprehension, speaking and writing skills in the English language.
