At the end of this course, the students; 1) Understand the concept of communication and its history. 2) Analyzes the relationship of communication with other disciplines. 3) Comprehends the features, functions and types of communication.
4) Learns approaches, theories and models developed in the field of communication. 5) Uses the acquired knowledge in practice.

COURSE DEFINITION | The aim of the course is to provide definitions and basic information that clarify communication.Definitions on communication, forms of communication, functions of communication, characteristics of communication and its relationship with other disciplines, types of communication and mass media, mass communication theories and models constitute the scope of the course. |
