1) Understand the qualification areas of educational administrators.
2) Understand Principal preparation models and traditions.
3) Analyse MONE policy and structure in this respect.
4) Compare and contrast the implementations in Turkey with those of other countries.
5) Design and present a personal school principal preparation model based on the theoretical framework.

COURSE DEFINITIONThis course covers the concepts of educational administration as a profession, professionalization process of education administration in the world and in Turkey, changing roles of education administrators, relationship between education administration and pressure groups, employment of education administrators and problems of promotion.
