Specific Admission Requirements
Those who have a Bachelor's degree and Masters degree with thesis in the social sciences field, preferably in the field of education may apply for the program. Graduates of the other departments may apply with the condition of completing the academic preparation program. The courses to be taken in the preparation program will be determined by the decision of the department. In order to apply for the Ph.D. program, the candidate needs to have a minimum score of 70 from ALES EA, or his/her GRE or GMAT score must meet the requirements set by the institute. Possession of adequate level of English skills are required to be documented by any one of the YDS, e-YDS, KPDS, ÜDS or TOEFL IBT exam scores. The candidates must match or exceed the equivalent score determined by relevant Institute Board Decision (on the condition of not being less than 65) in the centralized foreign language tests accepted by the Higher Education Council (YÖK) or international foreign language tests whose equivalence is accepted by ÖSYM. The candidates are required to succeed in the written exam and the interview. |
