At the end of this course, the students; 1) Examine the relationship between literature and history. 2) Comprehend the dynamics of history writing. 3) Analyze major works of Turkish literary history. 4) Discuss means of a critical history writing.

COURSE DEFINITION
This course focuses on theoretical and methodological features of literary historiography, and major works of Turkish literary history. In addition, the connections between literature and history, literary periods, and different approaches will be discussed.
