1) Define biomaterials.
2) Gain knowledge about the types of biomaterials and their basic properties, and discuss on the basis of current applications.
3) Understand the interactions between biomaterials and cell and organ systems, and discuss on the basis of current applications.
4) Learn various clinical applications of biomaterials and discuss.
