At the end of this course, the students;
1) Learn basic animal cell culture laboratory infrastructure, sterilization and aseptic techniques, and medium types.
2) Learn fundamentals of primary, suspension and monolayer cultures and passaging, cell storage techniques, and establishment of immortal cultures.
3) Perform laboratory applications of the course content, and discuss experimental results.
