At the end of this course, the students; 1) Gain the ability to associate various social facts and events with the functions, functioning and effects of mass communication at the sociological level. 2) Evaluate the knowledge and skills acquired in the field of communication with a critical approach. 3) Gain competence in the concepts and approaches, methods, strategies and techniques of communication sociology.

COURSE DEFINITION
The course focuses on basic concepts and theoretical models that appear at the interface of communication and social sciences. In this context, the concepts and approaches emerging today are evaluated from a historical and critical perspective, based on the epistemological and methodological knowledge of communication and social sciences.
