LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Improve their skills in reading, listening, and writing by familiarizing themselves with TOEFL IBT question types
2) learn the meaning and use of language associated with different text types, using appropriate strategies to work out meaning and by the help of these strategies and supplementary exercises, develop their vocabulary
3) write academic opinion essays
4) summarize the points in a listening passage and explain how they relate to specific points in a reading passage in writing (integrated writing)

COURSE DEFINITIONThis is an advance level course which aims to equip students with the necessary skills in order to improve sub-skills of reading, writing, and listening by familiarizing the students with TOEFL IBT question types. In addition, the course will develop their vocabulary in different areas through thematic units.
