At the end of this course, the students; 1) Learns the distinction between different psychological currents. 2) Learn the steps about how to measure any hypothesis of research psychology. 3) Learns basic psychological concepts and theories. 4) Learn the relationship between different psychological approaches and areas that explain human behavior. 5) Learns the ability to examine the possible causes of any behavior in terms of different parameters. 6) Learn the basic psychological concepts and theories related to the subfields of psychology. 7) Learns the ability to see and analyze the applications of psychology in daily life. 8) He / she meets the research methods of psychology and various fields of study (sensation, perception, thinking, learning, intelligence, language, etc.) within the framework of psychology mind-body (brain) interaction.

COURSE DEFINITION
The main objective of the course is to provide an understanding of what psychology is, its main topics, concepts, and interests. For this purpose, the historical development of psychology, research methods, sensation and perception, learning, memory, motivation, development, theories of personality psychopathology are taught in the course.
