LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT |
At the end of this course, the students; 1) Explain the relationship between financial decisions, return, risk and firm value in food and beverage businesses. 2) Explain the concepts of capital budgeting and investment project evaluation methods. 3) Evaluate investment projects by calculating the cash flows to be encountered in capital budgeting. 4) Explain the concept of cost of capital and calculate the weighted average cost of capital. 5) Explain the concept of leverage in food and beverage businesses and determine the optimal capital structure.

COURSE DEFINITION | It is aimed to teach financial decisions, risk management and optimal capital structure in food and beverage enterprises. The student will also be able to identify financial problems in food and beverage businesses and offer solutions to these problems. |
