LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Explain the concepts of scientific method and philosophy of science 2) Comprehends the stages of scientific research process and research problem 3) Can construct the conceptual framework of the research 4) Can make research designs 5) Can create research model and hypotheses 6) Knows and applies data collection techniques 7) Can define the universe and sample of a research 8) Knows the types of measurement and analysis and uses them in scientific studies 9) Can write a research proposal 10) Publication ethics can explain the concepts of plagiarism

COURSE DEFINITION	Qualifications, types and approaches of scientific research, scientific ethics and plagiarism; In relation to the research process, defining the problem, how to search the literature, forming a hypothesis, the purpose, importance, assumptions, limitations of the research, sampling methods, data collection, measurement and analysis, interpretation of the findings, reporting, physical structure and characteristics of the article. it is taught.
