LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Reognizes general information about material development in education 2) Knows the properties of educational materials in early childhood 3) Knows the principles of material preparation 4) Explains the importance of educational materials on children's development its effects and importance o 5) Explainsknowledge of using materials in classroom management. 6) Recognizes, uses and explains the importance of technological materials 7) Explains the materials to be used in special education and their importance. 8) Knows the contribution of designed toys to the development of children 9) Prepares materials for children's developmental characteristics

COURSE DEFINITION	Within the scope of this course, the place, importance and use of the material in the educational process, the qualifications and functions of the educational materials for preschool children, the characteristics of educational materials that will contribute to all the development areas of the preschool child, determining the material needs of the school or class, planning the appropriate materials, two and Three-dimensional materials will be designed.
