LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Knows the importance of mother-child health 2) Knows the anatomy and physiology of the female and male reproductive systems 3) Have knowledge about newborn, baby and child care. 4) Know infectious diseases that mother and child may encounter 5) Have sufficient information about family planning. 6) Cinsel yolla bulaşan hastalıklar hakkında bilgi sahibi olur. 7) Defines the basic principles of first aid 8) In a situation that requires first aid, provides fast and appropriate evaluation by ensuring the safety of the patient and the injured. 9) Determines the priority of the individual / individuals requiring first aid. 10) Decides about the appropriate first aid application for the individual 11) Carries out first aid application in accordance with the situation of the individual / injured.

COURSE DEFINITION	Within this course it is aimed to define mother-child health, the state of child health in our country and in the world, the formation of pregnancy, child development in the womb, the effects of illnesses and accidents on the child's development, physical development (teeth, height, weight) and follow-up of 0-6 years old children, family planning it is aimed to obtain information about basic first aid.
