LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Learn the Turkish constitutional developments in the historical process starting from the Ottoman Empire period,
2) Comprehend the Turkish constitutional developments together with the legal characterization of the documents of constitutional importance,
3) Understand the effect of transition from empire to nation-state and the development of nation-state on the constitution.

COURSE DEFINITIONThe Turkish Constitutional History course is a course that deals with the Turkish constitutional developments in a historical perspective, examines the legal nature of the documents that had constitutional importance in this process, and aims to investigate the effects of the processes of the state on the constitution in terms of Turkish history.
