COURSE DEFINITIONThe concept of mother tongue in this course; environmental factor in language acquisition, the concept of bilingualism; mother tongue education approaches in the world; The development of mother tongue education in Turkey; The relationship between mother tongue teaching and skill areas and new approaches in mother tongue teaching are discussed.
