2) Explains the differences between traditional and new approaches in determining student success.

4) Tools to get to know the student in many ways

COURSE DEFINITIONThe aim of this course is to improve the knowledge and skills of prospective teachers on measurement and evaluation by knowing the measurement tools and their properties that they will use in the evaluation of classroom learning. General content of the course: Measuring tools used in education and their properties; tools based on traditional approaches (written exams, short-answer exams, true-false type tests, multiple choice tests, paired tests, oral probes, etc.); tools to get to know the student in many ways (observation, interview, performance evaluation, student product file, research papers, research projects, peer evaluation, self-evaluation, attitude scales, etc.); practices for developing and assessing each skill area and grammar; Points to consider when evaluating student success; assessment and grading of learning outcomes.

3rd Week Measurement Tools Used in Education and Their Features Measurement Tools Based on Traditional Approach: Written exams. Short answer exams
4th Week Measurement Tools Used in Education and Their Features Measurement Tools Based on Traditional Approach: True-false type tests. Multiple choice tests
5th Week Measurement Tools Used in Education and Their Features Measurement Tools Based on Traditional Approach: Paired tests. verbal probes
6th Week Comparison of Traditional (Old) and Complementary/Alternative (New) Measurement Concepts.
