1) Plans scientific research.
2) Develops the basic hypotheses and assumptions of scientific research.
3) Carries out the necessary literature review for scientific research.
4) Plans the sampling method required for the scientific research project.
5) Collects data for scientific research project.
6) Carries out data analysis for scientific research project.
7) Shares and discusses the findings of the scientific research project.
8) Gains the skills of preparing a scientific research report.

COURSE DEFINITIONEvaluating a current problem in the field of Turkish teaching by applying scientific research methods.
COURSE CONTENTS
WEEKTOPICS
1st Week Reminder and information about the content and methods of scientific research.
2nd Week Justification of why an original topic is chosen for research purposes.
3rd Week Establishment of research objectives and sub-objectives.
4th Week Carrying out scans related to the research area.
5th Week Establishing operational definitions related to the research topic.
6th Week Developing a method proposal suitable for the research purpose.
7th Week Report submission of the research proposal.
8th Week MIDTERM EXAM
9th Week Determination of appropriate data collection techniques.
10th Week Application.
11th Week Analysing the data collected in accordance with the research objectives with appropriate methods.
12th Week Reporting and discussion of research findings.
13th Week Integration of all elements of the report and organisation of the bibliography.
14th Week General evaluation.
