LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) Gain information about the birth and development of Turkish literature in Anatolia.
2) The conceptual and theoretical framework of ancient Turkish literature is gained.
3) The ability to read and interpret literary texts is gained.
4) Information is obtained about the development of Turkish as a written language through the first literary examples given in Turkey Turkish.

COURSE DEFINITIONThis course includes the theoretical and practical examination of literary works produced in the Ottoman period Anatolian field of Turkish literature.
COURSE CONTENTS
WEEKTOPICS
1st Week 1. Distribution of course syllabuses and introduction of the course, explaining the program to be followed throughout the semester and the format of the assignments to be given, naming and description of Old Turkish Literature.
2nd Week 2.The Formation of Divan Literature and the Conditions Preparing It/The Literary Formation of Turkish/The Beginning of Old Turkish Literature in the Anatolian Area and Its Expansion Area/First Turkish Divans/Divan Organization
3rd Week 3. Sources of Old Turkish Literature
4th Week 4. Conditions of poetry, love, lover, lover and rival etc.
5th Week 5. Reality in Old Turkish Literature
6th Week 6. Divan poetry aesthetics and content
7th Week 7. Aruz and intralingual translation applications
8th Week 8. Characteristics, authors and works of Turkish literature in the Anatolian area of the 14th and 15th centuries.
9th Week 9. Examples from Sheikh, his life, works and poems
10th Week 10. Examples from Sheikh, his life, works and poems
11th Week 11. Necati Bey, examples from his life, works and poems
12th Week 12. Necati Bey, examples from his life, works and poems
