At the end of this course, the students; 1) Define the basic terms related to nutrition. 2) Establish the relationship between nutrition and health, think critically on the subject. 3) Define the basic concepts of food hygiene, safety and menu planning principles. 4) Can distinguish the differences in nutritional principles in special cases. 5) Can think critically about the causes and prevention of nutritional deficiency problems

COURSE DEFINITION
The Nutrition and Health course aims to teach the basics of healthy eating and develop knowledge and skills related to healthy living. Within this course, topics such as natural and healthy nutrition, obesity prevention, food additives, healthy lifestyle and exercise, growth and development, healthy sexual life, combating addictions (tobacco, alcohol, drug addiction, etc.), traffic, disasters and first aid are covered.
