LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Defines the relationship between culture and play. 2) Expresses the importance of children's games and toys. 3) Associates traditional games with developmental stages. 4) Explains the social roles of traditional games. 5) Expresses the factors affecting the transfer of traditional games. 6) Prepares activities for the transfer of traditional children's games.

COURSE DEFINITION	Educational and developmental values of play in early childhood; definition of play, its importance, development, social role, play theories, factors affecting play, supporting play, planning and implementing play activities; traditional children's games in folklore, the educational and cultural value of these games, learning children's games in different cultures and transferring them to new generations; definition, importance, rules of these games, traditional children's games played with adults and groups; The impact of traditional games on children's development areas; box games and the new generation; game design and implementation.
