At the end of this course, the students; 1) Gain knowledge about the development and basic concepts of positive psychology. 2) Understands how the positive psychology approach can be applied in education. 3) Gains knowledge about examples of practices that are beneficial for one's own well-being and the well-being of students/clients.* 4) Designs practices based on positive psychology approach that can be beneficial for the well-being of students/clients in educational environments.

COURSE DEFINITION
It is aimed to provide students taking this course with different understandings about non-cognitive developmental factors in education through positive psychology-based activities and practices that can contribute to the well-being of the audience they will serve in educational environments. In this course, basic concepts, strength-based approach, sources of well-being, non-cognitive factors in education, intelligence, self-efficacy, self-determination, flow, encouragement, etc. It includes good examples of positive psychology-based activities that can improve students' well-being and activities that can be designed.
