LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Explains the basic concepts related to the field of special education. 2) Explains the psychological stages and characteristics of families of students in need of special education. 3) Explains the characteristics of certain groups of students with special education needs. 4) Explains how to adapt their programs for groups with different special education needs. 5) Explains the rights of children with special needs and their families

COURSE DEFINITION	The course on Education of Children with Special Needs provides students with a theoretical and practical perspective on supporting the learning and development of children with various special needs. The course covers topics such as various teaching methods, technological tools, instructional materials, assessment methods, collaboration with parents, and a multidisciplinary approach to special education. In addition, the course aims to enable students to create individualized educational plans tailored to the diverse needs of children with special needs.
