LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Explains the basic concepts of developmental psychology, 2) Comprehends cognitive development periods, 3) Understands the physical development periods 4) Comprehends the personal development periods 5) Understand the moral development periods, 6) Explain the effects of individual differences on teaching process and learning perception, 7) Explains the basic concepts of learning, 8) Understand learning theories and processes 9) Evaluates the implications of developmental psychology knowledge in terms of education, 10) Integrates learning psychology perspective and approaches with their field.

COURSE DEFINITION	Basic concepts of educational psychology, development, developmental psychology basic concepts, principles, developmental areas and periods, developmental psychology theories, learning psychology basic concepts and theories. To have knowledge about child and adolescent development periods, learning processes and theories, emotional, cognitive and physical development. The aim of this course is; To ensure that students taking this course understand the basic characteristics and needs of learners in different developmental periods; To provide students with the ability to analyze the learning process and the individual learner with the scientific findings of the field of educational psychology.
