At the end of this course, the students; 1) Student explains what extra-curricular activities are. 2) Student explains the relationship between different extra-curricular activities. 3) Student uses extra-curricular activities in the education process. 4) Develops extra-curricular activities for teaching the field. 5) Student explains the effects of extra-curricular activities on individual development.

Formal curriculum and extracurricular activities in education/the concept of hidden curriculum; approaches related with hidden curriculum, cognitive and affective domain achievements and hidden curriculum; school as a place for rituals; school rituals as extracurricular activities; the importance and administration of social, cultural, sportive and artistic activities; the importance of hidden curriculum in value education; extracurricular activities in the value education framework (remembrances, celebrations, reunions, graduation ceremonies etc.)
