COURSE DEFINITION
In this course, concepts such as culture, culture-society relationship, communication, social meaning of communication, effects on society, society-communication relationship, development of social communication in the historical process, media, basic concepts of media, media-society relationship, new media and communication technologies are discussed. The main aim of the course is to enable students to learn culture, media and communication processes and to learn and discuss the relations of these concepts with each other in a sociological context.
