LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT At the end of this course, the students;
1) writes at least one piece, 5-8 minutes long, for an ensemble that reflects his or her own aesthetic point of view and will choose among the specified music ensembles. Writes 4-6 pages, at least 1 piece in a semester, about at least 1 work determined by the lecturer. He will have completed his independent project for the concert to be held at the end of the term, have his score and parts professionally printed, arrange for the instrumentalist or instrumentalists to play the piece, and have the piece performed at the concert.

COURSE DEFINITIONAt least fifteen minutes of music with a personal language and creativity is composed for the orchestra. In the final exam, the student defends his/her work in terms of language, form and creativity before the commission.

3rd Week Tone, instrument colors and form, repertoire examples
4th Week Texture, timbre and instrument colors,
5th Week Initial assessment
6th Week Tone and sound composition, repertoire examples
7th Week Human voice, phonetics, contemporary techniques, repertoire samples
8th Week Second assessment,
9th Week Electronic possibilities and instruments, live electro-acoustic sounds.
10th Week Repertory analyzes
11th Week Repertory analyzes
12th Week Graduation project file preparation
13th Week Graduation project file preparation
14th Week Presentation and analysis of music in front of the jury
