LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT	At the end of this course, the students; 1) Discuss the concept of criticism. 2) Evaluate the theories of literary criticism. 3) Examine a text with a theoretical approach. 4) Interpret the relationship between factual information and personal values through literature.

COURSE DEFINITION	This course aims to introduce the basic terminology in the theory of literature, along with the perspectives in critical theory and twentieth century critical theories.
