At the end of this course, the students; 1) Understand the characteristics of short story genre. 2) Learn about the tradition of Turkish short story. 3) Learn the historical development of modern Turkish short story. 4) Recognize short story writers from Tanzimat Era to today. 5) Analyse selected short stories.
