At the end of this course, the students; 1) Explain the general characteristics of folk literature products such as epic, folk story and folk theatre. 2) Evaluate the folkloristic texts as part of the folk literature tradition. 3) Analyze and classify Traditional Performaning Arts 4) Interprets the situation of traditional theater texts in modern art.

COURSE DEFINITION
Saga, folk tale, fairy tale, traditional theatre texts in Turkish Folk Literature and their usage in contemporary (modern) art are aimed to be introduced. It is provided that students have the grasp of the subject through sample text readings and various role-playing.
