At the end of this course, the students; 1) will be able to analyze postmodern and contemporary American poetry in the light of literary theory, 2) will be able to discuss the characteristics of various schools of American poetry in the late twentieth century and early twenty-first century 3) will be able to evaluate and follow the recent developments in poetry in various mediums including digital media

COURSE DEFINITION
This course aims to introduce students to the various schools of American poetry emerging after the 1960s. This course is a continuation of AMER475 American Poetry II and, in addition to poetry analysis, the context will be supported through articles and online sources.
